History
Peyton D. Smith completed her Massage Therapy Training at the Dayton School of Medical Massage and earned her Ohio State
Medical Board Practitioner’s Licensure in 2001. From there, she traveled to Victoria, British Columbia (Canada) and received
her Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy Certification from the Dr. Vodder School of North
America. She sought out, and began providing private Massage Therapy and Lymphedema Therapy services to an exclusive
clientele at both her residence, and that of her clients. She continued her education by earning her Associate in Applied
Science Degree (Physical Therapist Assistant) from James A. Rhodes State College, and received additional MLD and CDT
training from Andrews University.
She has over 20 years of treatment experience, providing various therapy services throughout west central and northwest
Ohio, to a diverse population of individuals who are experiencing and/or suffering from acute/chronic pain, stress, anxiety,
PTSD, lymphedema and/or chronic edema. She also offers Corporate Wellness Packages, and provides chair massage services
at corporate and community events.
Peyton is well respected and highly sought out, based upon her reputation of professionalism, providing exceptional client
experiences, and her value-added efforts to educate clients (and their caretaker) on strategies and techniques that can be
performed between therapy sessions.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, she opened the Lima Medical Massage Center and expanded her client base to include U.S.
Military Veterans. This also provided a (neutral) facility for her to continue caring for her existing clients in an environment that
ensures personal safety, allows her to continue providing exceptional client experiences and established the foundation for her
to expand her practice/client base into other communities.
